Why I choose iOS

As of late I have seen alot of people have been giving up on iOS. They say apple isn't investing anymore. It's just same old same old from apple. I can't say that they are wrong but at the same time, is this really a bad thing? I still love iOS just as I did when the first iPod Touch came out running iPhone OS 1 on it.

Over the years it has gone threw many transformations. While android played catch up. I know during this time I wanted an android phone cause I wanted a smart phone of any kind really. I ended up with a android 2.2 device. It was fine the hardware was low end and it had a lot of junk on it that I did t want and of course I could not get rid of it. But it did a lot of things that my iOS device couldn't do. Like easy Facebook and twitter integration. Which eventually iOS got too. But what I found I hated about android was it reminded me so much of Windows. I found my phone randomly restarting and things crashing cause I installed the wrong app or an update to an app didn't like my phone hardware. Or the OS was freaking out cause of a file getting cruppted and I would have to do a restore of my phone. I tarted doing this just in between semesters along with my windows computers just so I wouldn't have to do it in the middle of the school year.

Back to iOS when I lost my last Android phone I just had had it with android so I finally went to Verizon and got a iPhone 4S it was the easiest thing I had ever done. Since yes I already had a iPod touch I used and an iPad I turned on the phone let iCloud move everything over from my iPod Touch. I was done just that easy. For most of my life that's how it's been with me and Apple devices. Not only was it easy it was reliable. When I'm not at home and I'm out side away from my computers I need a mobile OS to reliable I don't want to have to turn it off and turn it back on cause things are not working if someone messages me I want to get that message cause it could be something for a project for school or someone about a personal project that I'm working on.

I need my phone for work and play. So I stick with iOS it's more muchure then Android is. I know Android is just about on par with IOS at this point but I still think there are just some things android will never do that iOS dose do well. Like consistent updates when I had my android 2.2 device I kept hearing about be releases of android and wanting them but of course some people got them and the rest of use were shit out of luck cause either the caryor or the manufatctioner didn't want to update last years device and wanted you to buy a new phone. But my iPod Touch I knew I was good for at least 3 updates before they stop supporting it. Hell the iPhone 3GS got updates form iOS 3 to iOS 6. Now I should note that with older hardware means they don't get all the cool stuff that the new iPhones can do. But still it just meant you are less likely to find apps in the apps store that won't work with your phone.

This is why I stick with Apple and the iPhone. I just want my phone to work and work well. For me iOS works and dose what I tell it to do. I'm not saying Android is crap there are something's that Android jelly bean dose that I like with there form of Siri. It's cool and I wish Siri would do those things but its nothing I need or would make my life any easier. At some point iOS will do it too and it will be nice to have. Until then ill stick with iOs and my iPhone till the end.
